I think you're missing the point you lied to me about the cost. When I wanted to put a standard starter that cost $111 he said that he would have to raise the cost of Labor by $45 each hour.
I would like to report that Richins Auto is one of the most dishonest shops I've been to. I took my car in to get a starter replaced and they quoted me $290 for the part. When I spoke to Kent about it he told me I was getting a great deal and they could only use premium parts to guarantee work on it for 24,000 miles or two years. He then proceeded to tell me that the same part on Napa's website was $400. I went to the same site and found the store and Sandy and told him that it was $270. He then responded by saying "that's only a $20 difference."
I would have taken my car to another shop but the starter was completely out and I had to have the vehicle towed to your shop. I would not recommend you to anybody. I will take every opportunity to warn friends and family to not go to your shop. I can only hope that your mechanic did good work and I don't have further issues I will not be back you will not have my business!
What kind of blackmail business are you running? You strong arm customers so you get your way absolutely ridiculous! Also I read the fine print on my receipt it says that the parts are only covered for 6,000 miles or six months. So that is 2 times that you lied to me over the phone.
I have been going to them for 4 years and I have never had a bad experience. I always felt they were honest and didn't try to get me to buy any additional services or do anything that I didn't need or want. I am sure those who have left bad reviews have legitimate reasons to, but that is to be expected as no company, or individual is perfect and everyone has bad days. I won't use anyone else now.
